If you’re feeling stretched thin, overworked, and needing to be in more than one place at a time, it's very possible you're missing a person.
As small business owners, when we are faced with business challenges, our mind automatically goes into problem-solving mode. And it usually includes "how can I do that?" when we should be asking "who do I need to do that?".
Successful business owners and leaders get things done by leveraging other people's skills. Whether this is via outsourcing whatever needs to be done or coaching & inspiring another person directly on your team.

So. How do you do this?
Building a trusted, self-motivated, and self-managed team is one of the best investments you can make in your business.
And yet hard-working employees with a winning attitude are hard to come by. Not to mention those with any relevant experience.
So how do you attract top people?
Here’s the harsh reality: posting a job ad is not going to get the job done. Depending on what you're looking for, you may know someone who knows someone. Referrals are the best. Begin by
You do need to do that, but that’s not all ...
Consider that hiring is an exercise similar to identifying your ideal client:
Identify your ideal avatar (the attributes of the person you’re looking for).
Let others know that this person is what you are looking for. How? Start with social media...it's free and the reach is unbeatable. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and now Clubhouse has a spiderweb effect.
Have a system to disqualify candidates so you’re only speaking with the most qualified people.
Consider hiring somebody with less experience but a strong work ethic, winning mindset, and a personality that blends well with you and your team. You'll have the benefit of teaching them the way YOU want things done, lowering your financial exposure, and may even have more candidates to choose from.
